Road Inspector ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Road Inspector mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo when signing in.
• Financial Information: If you choose to redeem points for rewards, we collect your UPI ID strictly for the purpose of processing your payout. We do not collect bank account passwords, PINs, or other banking details.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system, language, and unique device identifiers.
• Location Information (Access & Usage): We collect GPS or network-based location data to enable users to drop pins on local potholes and display relevant road hazards on a map. Location data is only collected while the app is in use and is necessary to accurately associate your reports with real-world coordinates.
• Camera and Media: Photos taken to report potholes or road damage.
• Usage Data: App interactions, performance logs, and error reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To allow users to report road problems and process reward point allocations.
• To display reported issues on maps.
• To process financial payouts via UPI to eligible users.
• To improve app functionality.
• To detect fraud, GPS spoofing, or misuse.
• To send important notifications.

3. Data Retention

We retain user-reported pothole data and images indefinitely for community mapping purposes. Your personal account data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the App services.

4. Data Deletion Policy

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. You can request deletion in one of the following ways:

• Online Request Form: Submit Account Deletion Request
• Email Request: Send an email to kashishcool144@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"

Upon request, your account and associated personal data (including linked UPI IDs) will be deleted within 7 business days. Please note that anonymized pothole reports may remain on the platform for community benefit.

5. Third Party Services

The app may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you including:

• Google Maps
• Firebase Services
• Google AdMob

6. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.

Terms & Conditions

By downloading or using the Road Inspector app, you agree to the following terms.

1. Use of the App

The app allows users to report road issues such as potholes or road damage. Users must provide accurate information when submitting reports.

2. User Responsibilities

• Do not upload false or misleading reports.
• Do not upload harmful or illegal content.
• Respect other users and community guidelines.
• Zero-Tolerance for CSAE: We have a strict, zero-tolerance policy against any content depicting, promoting, or relating to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Any user found uploading such material will be immediately and permanently banned, and the content will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

3. Rewards and Payouts

Users may earn points for verified pothole reports. Please note:

• All reports are subject to AI and manual verification.
• Points have no cash value until the minimum redemption threshold is met and a valid payout request is made.
• We reserve the right to reject reports, deduct points, or ban accounts without notice if we detect fraudulent activity, fake images, duplicate reports, or GPS spoofing.
• Reward conversion rates and minimum thresholds are subject to change at our sole discretion.

4. Limitation of Liability

Road Inspector is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for damages resulting from the use of the app.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if users violate these terms.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
